Dear Clients:
I do not require deposits for hour or less appointments at my place, same day if I am not busy.
I require a $50 deposit for new clients booking longer than one hour for their first session, as well as a minimum $50 deposit for outcalls (depending on the distance I would be travelling)
Please do not ask me to waive the deposit for you, I have set this boundary and when you say "cash only" - that's a red flag to me that you may not respect other boundaries and I will then be reluctant
to even book you for an appointment. Try to understand that from my point of view, when I'm travelling and have the cost of my room as a daily expense - I have to manage my time carefully and clients who pay a deposit are not going to just no show and waste my time. The deposit is refundable if your appointment is cancelled with at least 4 hours' notice. I accept e-transfer as well as some online e-gift cards: SkipTheDishes, Uber, Instacart are a few examples, please confirm with me before purchasing your gift card to confirm it's one that I will accept. Your deposit and session payment are also non-refundable should you make me feel uncomfortable, are pushy/aggressive or have been blacklisted by one of my colleagues for awful behaviour. I don't take chances in continuing to deal with anyone who I feel threatened by and it's my time, my body and I don't have to justify myself to anyone. Again, do not ask for this - it is offered at my discretion. ย >> discounted deposits: certain appointments require the minimum deposit as mentioned prior, others do not require deposit but I discount if sending at least 50% ($10-$20 off) of the total donation or full deposit ($20-$40). Deposits must be received when booking, if deposit is not received within one hour of booking, your session will be cancelled. The discounted deposits can be sent via e-transfer ONLY IF NO DEPOSIT WAS PAID, THE CANCELLATION FEE IS DUE BEFORE BEING ABLE TO BOOK AGAIN. ย ย
